SHWW will stay involved with our local Town Boards throughout this process.
The Tully Town Board, at their September 11, 2024 meeting, unanimously passed a resolution to stay firm in their commitment to oppose the erection and operation of large commercial turbines in their community, along with the associated large transmission lines necessary to connect the turbines to the electrical grid. They urge our state and local authorities to make judicial decisions about land use within their own jurisdictions. They join LaFayette in this endeavor.
